It has been my pleasure and privilege to be able to ride with some great men and women of the road. Over the past 35 years I have sat and listened to numerous stories of adventure and sorrow and have made it my life’s work to document their words. Perhaps now is a good time to try and condense my life’s work on what has been a great experience of living life on the road. I am the keeper of the flame and hope to share  my experiences and pass on the stories and words of wit and wisdom of the old graybeards that I have been taught to inspire a new generation of bikers to get out on the road, ride their bikes and live life. This is my dedication to those men and women who have shared with me their lives and taught me how to laugh in the face of adversity. Some of the names have been changed to protect the guilty.
