HELLS ANGEL

ON THE FIRE LINE

As many of you might know, the White Mountains of Arizona have been on fire for several weeks with firemen and volunteers from all over the world helping fight this fierce fire.   One of the heroic men out on the line helping this community is Cinder, Hells Angels MC, AZ Nomads.   Cinder has been living in Lakeside, AZ for the past 10 years.  He is not only a responsible member of his community but he is also the business owner of Deadend Custom Cycles in Lakeside as well as with Lines N Signs in Snowflake, another community possibly threatened by the Rodeo & Chedeski fire.

Text Box: Upon speaking with Cinder as to why he chose to not evacuate with his neighbors and the rest of several towns, he replied. “ The world is my back yard & I’ll fight to save it.” “The first day of the fire I was up at the base camp area with groceries to help prepare meals and a desire to help these brave individuals who have come to help. On the second day of the fire, I was operating a CAT dozer pushing the fire lineimages/hells_3.jpg

After 2 weeks of working to save as much of the community as possible, Cinder is now working on the clean up crew operating a 325 CAT hoe.   He has put in 192 hours in a 2 week time span and continues to want to help make sure things are truly safe.  This has been such a devastating fire to so many.  It truly is nice to see how much these neighboring communities have come together in their own way to help.   This fire has consumed 460,000 acres of land, 430 homes and had about 32,000 people evacuated for 7 days.

Cinder wishes to thank all of the fireman, hot shots, cooks and all the many volunteers who have come together for such a devastating disaster.  It makes him proud to be able to lend a hand when needed and for people to see that even Hells Angels take pride in their homes, families, friends and neighbors.
